Several months ago the maintenance of this cemetery was a subject at a meeting of the Northeast Louisiana Historical and Genealogical Society. It was reported that the cemetery was poorly maintained. This was pointed out to the Monroe City Council. Based on my observations I believe that the Cemetery looks better.
Anyway, isn't that an impressive monument?
