prune picker

This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

Football. Tech vs Utah

I went to the Tech football game today. They played Utah. They did good and won the game.

I went with a nice bunch. I love them. In the above pic they are John, Ross, Joy, and Ethan. Son in law, grand daughter, and two great grandsons.

The Band looked good.

Utah around right side.

The sacred statue of the school Bulldog was guarded during the game by exceptionally trained ROTC cadets. The head of the statue is rubbed for good luck.

Also at the game was the insurance agent for the Jefferson Corner Liars Club and his family. We call him Skip Russell. He is a nice guy and has a lovely family.
